Week 2

Brings Labor Day "holiday" and 3-year evaluation testing! Wahoo!

HA~ what a nice week to schedule VS IEP services testing:
A) VS + VSS+ aLC traveled to visit family, departed early in am with a late night return and "way too much" activity in between; (translation is tired kids 3 days later)

B) holiday, modified school schedule but routine off because aLC is not working on the holiday;

C) returned to exercise therapy after a 4 week break of sorts - major behaviors - the likes we havn't seen in a long while. Impulsivity, distracted, defiance, aggression, foggy processing of verbal responses...the list goes on and on.

VS decided on Presidential Active Lifestyle program for PhyEd.

VSS is doing Yoga and Swedish Dancing. 
VSS is gaining confidence in CA curriculum - doing every line of every lesson when that instruction says..... cute!
Teacher has Morning meeting recorded that we spend together. Learning to use a calendar, days of the week in order and counting days of school (178) by tally marks. There is also a share time -student can send in a picture and as a question of other students.  Nice way for students to connect with teacher daily!

Hoping services continue or are increased in reading support!
